So, the power steering is dead, it got hit again, and I'm lusting after a porsche. I have a feeling this S2000 period of my life might be over soon. The S200o has been great to me in many ways, but the electric gremlins in the car are just too much for me to handle right now. And, anything with the power steering makes it impossible to drive downtown, where I live. Ugh, Sports cars man.

Throwing in the towel over a p/s pump? Dude trust me, it will only get worse in a Porsche. Relax, take a deep breath, and get wrenching

Is it the rack? Or maybe just a hose or fitting?

Oh, I meant like this beat 944 where at least I can fix what's wrong. The S2000 has an EPS system, so I have to dig into the wiring loom if I want to fix it

Electric power steering, so something electrical has gone wrong

Until you pull codes on the EPS module, you won't really know what's wrong. It could possibly be out of calibration.... but then SRS lights would come on. Worst case though would be having to put in a new rack. it's not too bad buddy trust me. If you were in town, I'd hook up my Solis to it and it it did need a new rack, it won't take long to swap out.

It's really great when it's working. EPS is really a great system

It's working again, so I assume I just need to replace the EPS Computer
